In the long list of college towns, few cities can hold a torch to Boston, Massachusetts. This major port town has housed some of the best degree programs for more than 350 years. No matter what you want to study: music, history, science, or English, Boston most certainly has a campus to suit your needs.
History
Boston has much more to offer than terrific academics. It also has some of the best historical sites in the United States. Only Williamsburg, New York, and Philadelphia can compete with Boston, Massachusetts when it comes to colonial history.
Sports
If you've never been to a New England Patriots, Celtics, or Red Sox game, you're in for a treat. Boston is famous (or infamous) for its "enthusiastic" fans. Expect to spend many nights off campus, enjoying pro sports.
