Portland, Oregon is quickly becoming one of the most popular college towns in the country due to its excellent selection of courses, diverse campus environments, and numerous degree programs. Regardless of what type of education you want, Portland, Oregon won't disappoint you.

What Makes Portland so Great?

For starters, campus life in Portland is substantially different from most any other college you might attend. Situated as it is in the Pacific Northwest amongst so much natural beauty, Portland seems to inspire students to take a greater part in environmental causes and other progressive issues. So by attending a degree program in Portland, not only do you become educated, you are also likely to become something of an activist.

The stunning natural beauty mentioned above is not something to be overlooked. From Portland, you have excellent access to beautiful beaches, majestic mountains, ski slopes, expansive forests, hiking trails, numerous lakes, rivers, and pretty much anything else an outdoor enthusiast could ever desire. Studying against a backdrop of such natural beauty is nothing short of inspiring.
